STEPCRAFT Academy – Beginner Training CAD, CAM & CNC (4–5 Hours)
Would you like to enter the world of CNC and finally understand how CAD, CAM, and CNC work together? In our beginner training, you will learn the fundamentals in a clear and practical way – no prior knowledge required. Together we go step by step through the typical workflow: from the drawing, to CAM preparation, all the way to CNC practice.
The best part: you don’t need to bring anything. Each participant will have access to their own PC, machine, and software. Thanks to the small group size (max. 8 participants), there is plenty of time for questions and individual support.
What you will learn in this training
- Overview: What are CAD, CAM, and CNC, and how do they work together?
- CAD basics: clean geometries, design mindset, common beginner mistakes
- CAM basics: understanding toolpaths, parameter basics, using simulation
- CNC basics: coordinates, zero point, safe workflow, and key terminology
- Practical understanding of the complete workflow + Q&A
