Carbon brushes in milling motors need to be exchanged every 150 - 250 operating hours, depending on turn-on frequency, speed and running time. AMB strongly recommends the usage of original spare parts.
The original AMB carbon brushes set is suitable for AMB and Kress milling motors 530, 800, 1050 and 1400 FME-P DI. The set consists of one carbon brush without shutdown mechanism and one carbon brush with shutdown mechanism and an additional vibration absorbing silicone stripe which prevents excessive wear and usage beyond the wear limit. Both carbon brushes have to be exchanged at once.
